Dead Truck

Ok so last night I go out and my truck won't start, this morning it won't even turn over. check the batteries, one bad one, replaced. Still nothin, just buzzing. checked the starter, loose wiring, replaced. Ok finally got it going except I have a battery light on and when I go to start it all the dials go all the way up and then back down, then to where they belong. Anyone know what the deal is? thanks.

Did you charge the hew battery before you put it in??? Also have you checked the alternator???

Well I haven't ahs the new battery checked but I still haven't got the other old one checked either. I'm planning of doing that tomorrow. It shouldn't be the alternator or even the starter because the truck is just under 73,000 miles. Seems a little to soon for all that.
