Exclamation Need Help Fuel Problem Wont Start

ok well first things first i have 2000 F250 and the other day i was driving and my truck died. so first thing i tought oh must be the cps. so i went to start it again no joy. so i replace the cps on the side of the road still no joy. so i get it towed home to fix it later. well i thought well the batterys have been giving me a hard time so maybe thats it. so i got two new batterys still doesnt work. so now i thin its a fuel problem because i drained the the fuel/water sep and turned the key on and no fuel can in to the housing but the pump is still working or at lest sounds like it and feels like it. so please help me thanks a lot

I had the same problem about 3 months ago. The fuel pump sounded like it was working but when we took it off we tested it to see if it was picking up and it wasn't doing anything. We put a new one on it from Ford and it worked for about a week and the same thing happened again. Thankfully it had a warrenty so we put another new one on and it has worked fine since. Hope this helps you out.

fuel issue

Yup it's pump time don't forget to replace your filter and clean the bowl when you replace the pump.
