2000 f250 7.3

extended cab

i have a truck that randomly shuts off but will immedialty restart no problem. i replaced the cps but because when scanned it was that cirrcuit that came up.

the new cps did not fix the problem.. any ideas?

Check to see if cps wiring harness is chaffed and shorting out.

no but it ended up being a nick in one of the wires goin to the sensor . it hasnt hiccuped yet since i addressed it. thx for everyones input!!

Hello, i have a 96 f350 crew cab 7.3 chk engine like came on no power ruff idle changed fuel filter no help . Drove trk 45 miles home no power 35 mph max. Found burnt connetor at valve cover. Replaced valve cover gasket and now has slight miss ruff ldle and blue smoke seems to have much more power than before problem but dont know why the smoke and lo rpm hessitation seems to run down the high way great but again whe accelerating blue smoke! Any ideas? Thanks

I did replace wiring for fuel injection also
