02 A/C problems.

So the past two summer's have resulted in a new A/C system each start of summer. Starts with chirping as the clutch kicks in and out and within a few weeks quits blowing cold period. Both times I have ended up doing new compressor , drier and orifice tube and taking it in to have a machine evac and charge. Everything works good until the next summer rolls around and then the same problem again. The chirping started last week and of last night is right about to completely crap again. Thought about going to the dealership to get it done this time so it carries a 2 year WARRANTY but the $1800 estimate is pretty ridiculous to me. Any ideas on what would cause it to go yearly ? Been using the murray brand replacements from local parts house and thought of buying a FORD brand one and trying once more. I leave the AC off and try not to start the truck with the it in the on position. Our driveway is a 10% grade , wondering if maybe it's causing some kind of lubrication wear issue , but a s stated I try to make sure it's off when started ??? Completely out of ideas. Thoughts ?

Think I found it in the pigtail going to the clutch. Hold it firmly in and it stays running , let off and back to the constant cycling. If not the cure will definitely be back to this thread.

Sold 01 350 6" on 37's and mild mods, 00 X 4" on 35's, 02 f350 4" 35's molded from fan to drive shaft, ridin the 03 with nose conversion with 125k and counting upwards slowly.
Never had CNC on any of it, never will.
Take 3/4 of the info and recommendations on here with a grain of salt
