Getting cylinder cont. faults....

I noticed while pulling a hill and while leaning on the throttle decently heavy I had a bad shaking and vibration going on. I also have a hunting idle when up to temp...I did a buzz test with no codes. No injector codes were pulled. I did a cylinder contribution test and found I have cylinders 1 and 8 showing fault. Now, is this more of a wiring issue most likely, or is it an injector poppet issue? I thought of just pulling both and sending them to Casserly and have him flow them and see. Its not that bad to pull them. I've had one other injector of this set have the same issue where a poppet came loose and made the truck do same thing. Sticks have about 50k miles on them

I'd pull the valve covers and check the harnesses first.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to pull covers anyhow. Is there a way to ohm them out so I can rule them out over the injectors?

Just unplug and use a meter to check each wire. Put the negative probe on one end and the positive probe on the other end of the corresponding wire. You're reading should be 0 if it's good. Just check every wire in each connector. Might wiggle the harness when checking each wire just to make sure there isn't a break.

OK. Yeah, I thought there might be something to make it more complicated. Haha. I thought that was how you'd do it
