Exclamation Leak from under the dash

It seems there is some type of slow oil (?) leak coming from the brake pedal piston area. Anyone have any idea on how to remedy this?

sounds to me like the orings on your CCV are leaking, its a little rectanlge on top of the driveside valve cover. I would start there

-Edit- Did I complety read that wrong, or did you change the wording?

No idea how that would get in the cab...

Yep, hydroboost or
master cylinder. Have to remove the both so you will find the
issue when you are there.

Mine was leaking also...You stand on your head under the dash and follow the push rod from the brake pedal towards the fire wall and you will see the oil leaking around the shaft...Do you get oil drops on your foot or is it leaking to the carpet...See me Matt

I haven't had time to spend on this yet...

It seems there was a leak at one point because there is evidence of an old spill on the carpet with the leak orginating from the firewall (I'm guessing the PO fixed it, not sure what it was though).

The leak I recently spotted seems different, but I need to look again to make sure.

You described my exact leak!!! Mine just goes down the firewall.

How do you fix it?

Thanks for the link Devin. Hopefully it'll get me going in the right direction.

I'm wondering if it is critical to fix ASAP. Mine is just a slow seepage.
