I dont think so, its just power steering fluid, it just makes a mess in the cab. I put a rag under mine. Keep an eye on the fluid level and brake feeling.

Hey Devin,, I missed your reply to my post..I havent fixed mine yet...I put some Lucas power steerind aid in it...They say it stopps leaks..I have never had any luck with crap like that but it may buy me some time....My truck was leaking when I got it ...The used car dealer that I got it from said it had been sitting when the old owner died ....I dont think it was from the seals drying out...I havent put any fluid in it in a few months...I need to check it, it may have stopped for now....See me 24D

I checked around and only 1 out of 4 suppliers offered them but it was obviously way cheaper than ford. It was a reman by cardone so see who uses them locally. If nothing else cordones website CARDONE Online Home Page is pretty nice they will step by step you the part number and maybe contact them for a local seller.

Yea, I got a remanufactured one a few month ago. Seems to be holding up so far. I can look up where I got it if you need-- somewhere in Florida I think. It's all foreign to me-- I am in the Virgin Islands and no one wants to ship here!!

I actually just put some PS stop leak in there and left it for now but I ended up buying a NOS off ebay just havent installed it. It actually seemed to stop it from leaking but every now and then I notice lag when braking and turning like its over taxing the system. Sooner or later I will get around to replacing it!
