I think I have reached my limit...

The last 2 days in a row I go out in the morning to start the truck and it drains the batterys in 2 cranks. I am sick of it. The only thing I can count on, is this thing not working. Mind you, these batterys are less then a month old. I am really thinking of getting rid of this, Ive spent thousands alone in the last 6 months trying to keep the damn thing running and it still doesnt.

I would say some how without me doing anything to the truck there is a large drain. the batterys have worked great now for the month I have had them, and it only happens when the truck sits over night, once i jump it, it works fine all day...

IT WOULDNT REALLY WORK ALL DAY THEN IF THE ALTERNATOR WAS BAD IT SHOULDNT RUN. IT WOULD RUN FOR A LIL WHILE UNTILL THE BATTERIES WERE DRAINED THEN DIE.

IF YOU WANT TO DO LIKE WHAT I DID TO MY OLD 97 WHEN I HAD IT.. IT ALSO HAD A LARGE DRAIN AND COULD NEVER FIND IT SO I PUT TWO CONTINIUOS DUTY SOLENOIDS ON THE BATTERIES AND RAN SWITCHES INTO THE CAB.. ALSO RAN A SMALL WIRE INTO THE CAB HOOKED DIRECTLY TO THE BATTERY SO THAT MY RADIO WOULD KEEP ITS MEMORY AND OTHER STUFF THAT NEEDED CONSTANT POWER..

THAT AND IT MAKES A GOOD THEFT DETERANT, IF THEY DONT FLIP THE SWITCH OR SWITCHES TO ENERGIZE THE SOLENIODS THEN NO POWER, NO STEAL TRUCK..

BUT THATS THE REDNECK WAY TO DO IT... I JUST GOT TIRED OF DEAD BATTERIES AND COULDNT FIND THE DRAIN.

Is it possible for the glow plug relay to stick on and the glow plugs drain the batteries?
