Exclamation Torn up in Tennessee!

Okay, so my truck breaks down. No biggie. It happens! So after two days out in 20* temps trying to fix it, my brother and I tow it home 2.5 hrs on backroads with a 20' tow strap with a single cab, short bed, 2 wheel drive, chevy 1500. If your thinking "WOW... that's insane" your right. It was. But we made it...and no one or no things were hurt. Through the process of elimination I detrmine its a faulty Frame Mount Fuel Sending Unit. So I take it off and with the same curiosity that kills many cats (praise the Lord) and regretable sometime even humans, I hooked the sending unit up to a batter charger on the 2 Amp setting. The unit start whining a fuel goes EVERYWHERE! So now I find myself wandering if it's a relay I somehow missed, or some other potential electrical issue. I've searched existing posts through and through and I'm stumped. If anyone has any thoughts PLEASE share...I gotta get this thing goin!

So I found several things in threads related to my current problem, can anyone tell me what IPR, IDM, EBP, and ICP stand for...and where I may find them?

IPR=Injection Pressure Regulator mounted under the high pressure oil pump
IDM=Injector Drive Module located on driver side fender or under fender liner depending on year
EBP=Exhaust Back Pressure Sensor located front of engine above water pump
ICP=Injection Control pressure located driver side top of motor Your Premiere Source for Ford Truck Parts and Accessories After clicking on link scroll down as first page is Black and Blank

I had the same problem back in oct on a moose hunting trip in northern ontario. 3 am in the morning the truck just died, 2 hours later i got towed to the nearest dealer ( an hour away). all said and done they looked at it for 2 hours and found it had no power so they traced it back to the fuse under the hood, the contacts on the fuse block where corroded and it was not making good enough contact. all cleaned up and not a problem since!
