Sounds like power steering to me too. Your pump is starting to wear out probably. I would change the fluid in it to a synthetic. See if that quiets it down.

Do you really have that much snow in Pollock Pines right now I was supposed to go up there and do some landscape work for a buddy this week

ur not going to be doing any landscaping around here anytime soon. The roads are incredibly icy even down to Camino.... UNLESS, it stops friggin rainin & snowing every other day....worst winter here in many years

Yep, thats what I thought, but the mechanic didn't seemed worried, but I am. thanks I'll try that

NOpe, hate that lake, its Union Valley Resv, b/t Ice House & Loon...Folsom is in bad shape from what I've seen
