try this. it works for me & I say woops, its the whine before that . I took the vid cuz this is the road we PAY to have plowed, I was sending it to a friend & noticed I could here the whine, so after woops, u can stop

Sounds like PS to me. Does it get louder when turning or reving the engine?

Fluid was checked, it was low, now its not, but I do have some front end issues at the moment, so I kinda wondered if it had something to do w/that?

I don't remember what your front end issues where but I doubt they had any impact on the pump. It is probably just tired. If I remember correctly you have over 150k on that truck???

yep. 175k. well, my bro hit something axle seals & tie rod are shot, no bushings on end links, which I have but haven't been able to get the lift open for me to get under truck & putthe new ones on, bushings that is
I thought the pump needed to be replaced, but I'm worried when we get under the truck, I'm going to be finding more...well, the mechanic will find more wrong
