Front drive shaft u joints

Quick question looking for tips. Need to replace the ujoints for the first time off the transfer case. It looks like you can remove some bolts and the whole shaft comes out. Is this right or am I missing something? Cant complain getting 285k out of he originals! Thanks guys!

Yes, the shaft unbolts from the flange on the transfer case. I had both my shafts rebuilt at about 275K and they were overdue. 285K is a great life out of it.

4 bolts by transfer case, 4 nuts on straps and the shaft is free..
8mm bolts on straps, 13mm bolts on other end.
my strap bolts were rotted so an 8mm would not fit, had to grind strap off and use a torch to heat up the bolts in order to back them out..Loads of fun!..
