Exclamation No throttle repsone pleasde advise

2002 F250 7.3 2wd

Truck starts and runs but no response from go pedal. Mine has the adjustable pedals. The dealership tells me the part I need is $885.00 because it needs a whole new assembly, I call BS but I wanted to get some opinions.

Thanks!

2002 CCSB 2X4 F250.

Wow. Can I replace it with a non adjustable pedal?! I don't use them and that's a huge price difference.

If you Do need a TPS, there is a Dorman replacement rheostat (not sure how the "adjustable" thing effect this) that might be all it would take
