Question Truck stalls out intermittently

I have a 97 350, just recently the truck started running poorly I had a couple of cam codes. I replaced the cam sensor agian, still had a problem. I still had a p0344 intermittent code so I tore apart the harness from the camshaft position sensor to the pcm, ohmed everything out found nothing. My fuel filter was plugged up pretty badly, I went to replace it and found the fuel filter housing was pittted, so I replaced the entire assembly. I thought I was in the clear, I was wrong. I started it up it ran fine for ten minutes and then started running rough then it died. It would not restart for about 15-20 minutes. I got it started again and drove it hard for about 15 miles, put new fuel in, when i went to slow down at a light it started running rough again wanted to stall, it did that twice. I scanned it again and there was the p0344again, the only thing I can find is that the electrical connector for the cmp is a little wourn out. I went to get one but they only sell it in the whole harness(120 my cost). Its either the pcm or connector or I have a bad pin in the main injector harness connector. Does anyone know where I can get just the cmp connector pigtail, or have any insight on my problem.

Have you checked around junkyards. That is where I would go. You might be able to find a 97 F-350 at a junkyard and beable to salvage the wiring harness out of it for a decent price. Obviously stay away from the burnt trucks.
