engine decelerates while driving

k so this started a week ago and it seems to be geting worse.... i notice it more if im driving on the highway since im holding down the pedel consitantly.... when im driving my truck i sometimes feel it decelerate only for a split second and then it kicks in again... aslmost as if i were to let go the the gas pedel and then quickly push it in again....it does it at least every 30 sec or so and its rather annoying.... anyone have any ideas on what it could be... i was thinking it could be the fuel filter? or maybe the new diesel fuel? could it be the tranny too? because prior to this happening i felt like the tranny was shifting a lil off... also ive noticed way more turbo surge lately... any info you can give me would be great......

have you pulled any codes with your evolution? A bad cps will give a sharp but only instaneous power loss. See if you get any codes and that should help.

i tried pulling codes last monday and all i could pull were the normal ones that the juice pules under heavy acceleration...... when i start my car and the edge attitude is loading up it starts beeping with a boost lvl warning even though im just at 0 boost... i have to push enter to clear it the if i try to adjust the boost lvl warning to maybe like 25 or so it freezes up at that screen....dont know if that can be it too but im going to my deisel tech today and see if we can fix the problem.....
