Fuel Gauge Problem!!

I went to drive my truck to work this morning and noticed that the fuel gauge read that it was at a full tank, which is weird because the day before it was at a half tank which was correct. This morning it was cold around 5 F, but I did have the truck plugged in. Is it possible that some fuel froze in the lines and is giving a false reading of the fuel gauge? I do have a fass fuel system installed in the truck. When I got to work, the fuel gauge had dropped a little under the full mark but the day before it was at half a tank. Half a tank is where the fuel gauge should be at. Was it because it was so cold and the fuel froze or?

bump! Fuel gauge looks like its starting to settle back into place.. Any ideas why it happened, because of the cold weather?
