ABS light needs turned off

I ripped my abs wire when I took out my front axle, now I need it off so it looks better when I trade. Friend said take the bulb out. Is that the easiest?

No sense in trying to cheat the dealership or next owner. Why not get one from a junkyard and replace it? It shouldn't be that expensive or difficult. Certainly easier than taking the bulb out, and more respectable too. How annoyed would you be if you were having abs problems with a truck you bought used, only to find out the previous owner removed the bulb from a warning light that was put there by the manufacturer to alert you to such issues? I'd be PO'd. Do the right thing and fix it.

Or even worse.... Wheel locks up and you or the person that buys it... Crashes.

i was going to pull the bulb for my abs light but it turned out to not be a bulb in my cluster. i was going to de-solder the LED but i figured it was probably going to be one of those things that wouldn't let the truck run.

i wasn't going to do it to trade it in, i was just sick of looking at the light in the dash.

and i bet that the trade-in value is going to be the same with the abs light on or off.
