White Smoke & Knock - Picture!

Start up my truck this morning...and the picture is what I see. I hear a loud tick, almost a cracking noise that seems to be synchronous with the RPMs. The smoke and the knock both go away after idling for a few minutes. This has just started within the past couple days.

I'm thinking it'll be glow plugs, GPR, or a bad injector. I'm going to ohm out the UVCHs, start using Rev-X, start using Stanadyne fuel additive, and do some AE sleuthing.

Any opinions? I will return to this thread with results.

seems like the injector is stuck open in the morning. possible solenoid on top or just the poppet valve is screwed up
