Window/GEM Problems
So earlier today I was using AE to see if I could change the tire size, and you can. But later on in the day I noticed I couldn't put my windows back up. So I checked all the fuses under the hood and under the dash and didn't find anything wrong there. So I turned the ignition on and found 12v at each of the fuses to confirm power. The Power Window Illumination fuse however didn't have any power and found no power in the connectors at the window switches. So i had to hotwire the windows up for the night. So my question is could the GEM be giving me these problems and could me checking out the tire size changer in AE have caused it? Hopefully its just a programming issue that the dealer can fix, wonder how much that would cost. I did research the price of a new GEM and its around $400!

I forgot to add that i did take the GEM out and inspected it and found no trace of water.

Here's an update. Dealer looked at the truck today, they say its the GEM and I need a new fuse box and GEM. Now the kicker, it will cost me $1100 to get this fixed. I'm seriously thinking of running a power wire to the window switch to bypass this stupid GEM. Any Ideas?
