Turbo Issue?

Little bit of a problem, my truck isn't building boost at all and I can't hear my turbo spool. Think the waste gate is stuck or compressor wheel? Can't do much about it right now, no time.. but I am a little curious about it! Also can't get over 60 mph and you can mash the pedal and you get nothing.

yes, it'll blow a little cloud but not much because you can't really give it anything to blow anything. sitting in neutral though if you rev it a little there's a little more than usual

well, no boost + same amount of fuel as usual = lots of smoke.

Do you have a boost gauge? I had a similar problem: no power, couldn't hear my turbo spool. It ended up being a bad T that connects the boost gauge inline with the boost line that goes from the manifold back to the MAP sensor. Ford had suspiciously changed it on me when I had brought it in to get the heat shielding on the the firewall replaced....

To add to this: check the up pipes themselves. I had another bad boost leak & found I needed to fabricate new up pipes. Like hawaiian said, check the donuts, but also check & make sure the up pipes aren't moving.
