Early 99 Knocking and shaking at idle

Got an early 99 f350 that shakes and knocks pretty bad but only at an idle, once over idle there's little to no knock at all and same with the shaking and zero power loss whatsoever it runs super strong.

I had injectors scanned and buzzed tested and came up with nothing wrong. Tried replacing the CPS that didn't do much either. Recently it has been "running out of fuel" when it's been sitting for a day and I run it, it acts fine then I get down the road and it runs out of fuel but them cranks back up and runs fine?

Can't come up with anything, so any ideas would help! Thanks guys

Yeah it doesn't seem to be loose at all, it runs good just knocks and every morning it cranks runs fine for a few minutes then goin down the road sputters like it's out of fuel and white smokes then takes a minute to crank then runs good the rest of the day, no idea what it is!

Also the buzz test only test the electrical side of the injectors would need to do a cylinder contribution test to possibly pin point injector issues.

White smoke is fuel so would say your not running out of fuel. I would also try plugging it in at night to see if the problem persist. Try searching on the forums have noticed alot of threads recently on trucks that just die after running a while see what they came up with.

ya low oil could be causing some issues....

try a delphi hts101 cps, i had crappy idle with the ford cps. the delphi improved the idle.

i also replaced my ipr with no signs of it being bad and what a difference. The truck ran smoother and had way more power with a new ipr.
