Exclamation 7.3 sometimes wont start...

Hi there! This is my first post, ill try to keep it short. I have a 1999 E350 Ex-Ambulance that Ive converted to an RV. I have had it for over a year now and sometimes I have trouble starting it.

What I have changed: Cam Positioning Sensor, Fuel/Water drain valve, High pressure oil lines, and Inline electric fuel pump.

I only have trouble when I haven't started it in awhile. I have noticed that when It doesn't start the oil pressure gauge usually doesn't move. If the batteries are full and the oil pressure gauge is up it normally starts up no problem. Could that be the ICP Sensor? Could my HPOP be low or need to be changed? Lately I have been having to use a small shot of ether.

by the description you are giving it sounds if the low pressure oil pump is struggling to build prime.

you may want to remove the oil filter and see if the drain back valve is missing.
if it is intact you may want to look for external oil leaks and if none are present then suspect the low pressure pump.

generally when the low pressure pump is worn the truck will start and then stall after 5-10 seconds, after the HPOP consumes all the oil in the reservoir and the LPOP didn't refill it.

I had a huge oil leak but i repaired it as far as I can tell. I will check for the drain back valve. I forgot to mention it does randomly shut off. Normally when its idling and has had a hick-up on the hwy before (likely the same issue). It happens about once a month.
it may be a coincidence but it seems to act up more when I'm low on fuel. (about a quarter tank)

Thank you for you help.
