Weird Noise coming From turbo region

I have a 2003 7.3l f350 and when i step on it and the turbo starts to spool it almost sounds like a leak somewhere, a "zzzz" type noise. it is weird and scaring me, i dont have any boost gauges so i cant tell what kinda boost its running any one have any suggestions? it sounds fine at idle but as soon as i accelerate and the turbo starts spooling it makes the sound and when i let off it makes it..

fill out your sig so we know what parts you have on your truck.

is it compressor surge? or possibly the wheel contacting the housing.

every once in a while i will get a clicking noise but then it stops.. if i stick my head out the window i can hear it and when im in the cab i can hear it.. sounds like it is coming directly from where the turbo is.. its not compressor surge its a constant sound almost sounds like leak of some sort... ive also recently started leaking anti freeze

well i doubt the two are related.

i would take the intake tube off and look at the wheel.
make sure you dont have excessive play and its not rubbing the housing
