Part name

Anyone know the name of the part that sits on the manifold and connects to the iat sensor and the map sensor vacuum hoses? I can't upload a photo, unfortunately, but it is kind of cylindrical and mounts on the manifold. The manifold air heater is just off to the passengers side. The connector (I guess) is shown on 4B-11 of Haynes. I'm stumped and I need a new one. This whirring loudly when I turn the key.

Noise a problem?

Any updates on the noise? My 2012 250 just started a buzzing/ticking noise while running and when i shut off the truck it will go into a 30 second whine and slowly fade away. I have read a few old forums on other sites stating that it is a sound that ford says is normal, but people are saying that it is a wastegate control valve and or oil pumping into trubo to cool. Its annoying has hell and want to fix it. Truck has 27k miles and has only started this past week.

Thanks guys
