Problem running in really cold weather

I let my truck run for at least 30min in the mornings . When I drive it and get going at a steady speed and barely on the fuel I lose all my boost and hear it blowing out the tell pipe , but as soon as I give it more fuel it's stops blowing and builds boost back up . Only does it when it's real cold out . Any ideas. ?

After everything comes up to temp does the problem go away?

Putting this old PMR truck to the test....

sounds like the exhaust back pressure valve

No still does it . I work out of my truck so it runs pretty much all day , and problem never stopped . But I plugged my truck in last night and drove it today and fine besides it's not nearly as cold out .

i still stand saying its your EBPV closing on you. now why its doing it all the time thats another mystery. have you cleaned your Exhaust back pressure sensor and tube recently? do you have a way to se what your oil temp is?
