At whits end...

I have a 2001 7.3 powerstroke with 251XXX miles recently I have been having no luck with it, have replaced the ICP sensor, IPR valve, cam position sensor and the number 8 injector. Turbo doesn't have excess slop and all electrical connections seem tight. Pickup is dumping fuel (looks like a locomotive at idle) and getting about 4 mpg on the highway also will miss and cut out while running down the road and knock sporadically. The computer I have said injector control pressure above or below normal range at idle but the code dissappears when I'm driving it. Someone please give me some advice before I give up hope on fixing it.

p1211 is related to icp.

do you have any way to check icp and duty cycles?

possibly bad hpop but hard to say.

does the engine sound like its running on all cylinders? if not might be a bad under valve cover harness.

i would lean towards UVCH first they are cheap only like 40 bucks from dieselorings.

When it first fires off it runs perfect. Has a touch of white smoke but nothing major, after it has ran for about 10 to 15 seconds it bellows white smoke but will clear up when at a high rpm 2500+ or while driving down the highway. I have no way to check either of those.
