low injector control pressure

when i get on it my check engine light comes on and it throws a code for icp too high or low. i can get it up over 2800psi on stock but if i have it turned up and mash the throttle i can only get about 1900 or so. i can get up to 2500 with about 1/4 throttle though. its not smokin much at all,so i'm thinkin it might be fuel pump related? i don't know what the normal readings are for fuel vollume desired and exhaust back pressure if it might be defueling or somethin. it didn't do it nearly as bad when i first got my chip but the light did come on but it still ran good, now it just doesn't have the power it should when i get on it. it runs great part throttle most of the time, so i don't know if it could be the icp sensor or ipr lift pump or what. any help would be greatly appreciated, i have a goat to slaughter. the code its throwin is p1211

it sounds like you have a ipr valve o-ring going out.

dont think that its an o ring. sounds like you have a weak hpop. you need to take that 8K-4.7K Switch off your icp sensor. that may be the reason but if you have had this problem from befor that was on the truck it ant that. but the hpop may not be giving a good amout of oil. but take the switch out first and see if that helps cuz that will work on the icp sensor.
but to me sounds like you have a problem with you oil pump man.

its not the switch its a 3 way switch so when its off its off not affecting it at all. and that's why i put it on there tryin to get more pressure but didn't do much.

then ya you should look at a bigger then stock hpop in you are looking at injector any time. maby someone on this sit can hook you up with a deal on one.

well if anybody can get me a good deal on an upgraded one let me know cause i ain't got 1500+ to spend on one any time soon,or even a cheap stock pump.
