It could be a number of things causing the issue. And, IIRC, the center spot is a ground wire, if we're talking about the UVC harness.
Are you able to pull codes or do an injector buzz test? If you live around bradenton FL I'd be more than happy to hook up Autoenginuity and do some diagnosin for ya
