HARD TO START

I have an 01 F250 ,auto ,4x4 ,110k ,that has never given any signs of problems and always runs fine, the truck is stock except for muffler delete and a short side pipe. I went to start today and it just cranked and made a bunch of clicking sounds under the dash (relays I guess). Tried again and it started right up, as is never a problem. CPS was replaced under the recall, and I have no engine codes. Anyone had or heard of this?

mine just did this today. wont start at all. it makes a noise under the steering wheel when i turn the key on, then when i crank it, it clicks under the wheel somewhere about the same speed as the motor is cranking.

supply and demand.... has everything to do with resistance... that nasty green chalky looking stuff @ the terminals prevents a good connection and makes the electronics go nuts... simple fix... put some electrical grease on both the cable ends and posts of both batts... dont forget to check the end at the starter too, it sometimes gets a beaten but is often overlooked...
