knock at 1600rpm

New here, ive been looking around here awhile but never posted, ive got a 01 7.3 with 100k on it, I recently noticed a knock/chatter around 1600rpm, goes away around 2000. Its gotten colder here in wisconsin in the last week. In the 20's during the day, I also changed my oil last week and after the temp change and oil I noticed it. The truck runs great besides that. It also only does it when in drive, if I am in park and push it up to 1600 it sounds fine. This is my work truck so it gets used every day. Im worried that its something serious. My questions are what could it be? How can I fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Injector knock... you've described it perfectly.

Comes at 1500, goes away around 2000. isn't there without load.

A good test... in any gear where your torque convertor locks, or if you are stick. Drive up to around 50mph or whatever get's you to around 17-1800rpm. Youll here the knock, but if you let off the throttle and engine brake the knock should go away. That's why you need to have the torque convertor locked ( 3rd or O/d) other wise the engine would just drop to idle.

if you do that test and the knock goes away when you are engine braking then you can stop worrying about it
