P0720

I have a 2001 Crew Cab, 4x4 DRW with 240,000 miles. I have been getting the OD light flashing and loss of power. When I scan it, I get the P0720 code. The dealer replaced the shifter because they found a short in it and said that should take care of the code. However, it came back again. Does anyone have any thoughts?

I also got this code this weekend, i was pushing 2' snow amd got stuck real bad. It happened after hours of trying to get unstuck rockin back and forth etc.

Got out and it went away. Check the codes and I got P0720. Could I have just got water or snow in the sensor or was it from all the rocking back and forth from drive to reverse.

Any help would be great!

Fynn
