lost boost?

Yesterday while backing up my truck hiccuped and the check engine light came on then went out. I also noticed a electrical burn smell coming from my vents. When I left I noticed on my CTS that I was not registering any boost but could press the fuel pedal and it drove the same as before. Does anybody know where the sensor is the computer gets its boost pressure from or have any idea what else I need to be looking into? Thanks

The hickup sounds a lot like a CPS going out. Pull the codes and you should know for sure. I'm not familiar with the CTS but the only stock sensor I can think of to measure boost is the is the MAP sensor. If the CTS has it's own sensor there is a good chance it's teed into the same line.

I got no codes. It is the edge CTS which use to monitor my vitals.

Found my electrical burn smell, it was one of my hid lights smoked. Also I reset my cts and boost started to register again. Only thing I am concerned about now is why the hiccup. It acted like it was going to die along with a check engine light then it didn't. I got home and pulled the codes and there was none that came up. Any ideas? Thanks
