Lost Mileage with BorgWarrner CPS
After researching all the different CPS sensors I decided to swap my gray CPS out for a BW from O'Reillys. I was having a miss and overall rough idle. After the swap it started up the first time and ran smooth. The next day I had a long crank start and then a no start. I've been through 3 tanks of fuel and mileage has dropped off by about 2 mpg and I have a long crank every once in a while.
Has anyone else experienced this or did I get a dud? The magnet in the new BW was much stronger than my gray CPS and I had high hopes. I was really hoping for an increase in mileage but now I'm thinking Ill just put up with the rough idle and better fuel mileage. Thoughts?
