Oil Pressure

Not sure if this is a problem or not.

When i start my truck after it has been sitting more than 5-6 hours the oil pressure takes 3-4 seconds to come up to normal. The check gauge light stays on till its up to normal. Its almost like im waiting for the oil filter to fill up on my old f150 after a oil change.

That's normal. Just as long as your oil level is where it's supposed to be, & doesn't have any critical oil leaks. The 3-4sec. wait is just how she runs!
