Battery & Alternator Drain

I have a 2001 F350 that I have been having some issues with lately, specifically with the batteries being drawn down when I don't use the truck frequently. After I jump the truck or charge the batteries back up and start the truck, I am only getting about 12.3 volts at each battery and about the same at the alternator. The alternator is new, within the last month, and the batteries check out as good. Anyone have any thoughts on what might be the issue, with first the drawn down batteries and second with the alternator not charging? Could it be a bad cable between the alternator and battery or could it be bad cables off the batteries, I have heard that the battery cables on the 7.3 powerstroke can go bad and possibly be causing my problems. Thank you in advance and any and all help is greatly appreciated.

By the way. My issue was my glow plug relay was constantly drawing 80 amps from my alternator when the key was on. Check the amps at the relay power wire while the key is on
