DUMB Questions here........
How long should it take to start a 1998 powerstroke? It seems like it shouldn't take as long as it does. I have to turn it over at least 10 seconds untill you finally hear what I would assume is the injectors clicking and it starts right up. Is this normal? Or what could be wrong?
I never owned a Powerstroke untill this one. I bought it with a blown engine and swapped it out. I am just trying to sell this as fast as I can but I don't want to show it if theres something wrong that needs to be fixed. Also the oil pressure gauge after running for about 5 minutes starts to climb to the highest reading. Any Ideas? Is the oil pressure sensor a different part form a 97 F-250 to a 98 E-350? |

Are you give the glowplugs a chance before you crank it? And the oil pressure I don't know ... but on my 2000 it pops up to the middle right away once the engine is running. It doesn't sound right to me man...
