vibration/wobble in steering wheel, only with foot on gas

So I've got a strange vibration/wobble in my steering wheel at 45 mph, and only when I've got my foot on the throttle. It doesnt change if Im heavy on the pedal or light, but when Im on it I only feel it through the steering wheel. It feels like a driveshaft vibration, yet it isnt felt through the floor boards or seats.

The truck is an 02 with an 8" lift, dual bilstein stabilizers, warn manual hubs. The hubs are unlocked, the transfer case is in 2wd.....drive shaft spins freely.

Any ideas? Im at a loss because its when I apply power, yet nothing is turning!

Did you solve it?

I'm having an acceleration vibration in my F250 4x4 crew 6.0 that starts about 45 and continues through 70. At 75 it smooths out. Let off the gas at any speed and it's smooth. Got under the truck today and found the U joint on the rear drive shaft completely trashed.

No, havent solved it yet...still trying to narrow down the symptoms.

I checked U-joints and they seem tight, I put a wrench on all of the mounting bolts for the transmission just to see if somehow the shop missed something....all tight. I did check my balljoints and the Moog joints I put in the passenger side are toast. up and down slop in the upper, the lower moves back and forth. That could be some or all of the vibration since the draglink connects to that side and to the steering box....sending vibrations through the steering wheel.

The only thing about it that doesnt make sense it that its more prominent when I put my foot on the throttle...doesn't matter how hard. light food, heavy foot....that 45mph range it makes it worse.

Hubs unlocked, 4wd disengaged....in theory nothing is turning in the front to link the throttle to a vibration in the steering wheel.
