HELLLLPPPPP
I have noticed a decline in my pick up power in my truck. It is a 2001 7.3 Power stroke. When I get on it It just revs high like it wants to do somethin but doesnt have any pick up power? Any ideas what it could be? Injectors? Air filter is clean also. My truck is also completely stock. PLease help me

Sounds more like a transmission problem. If your steppin on the throttle and it ain't going no where, most likely your torque converter is slipping or the internal clutches of your trans are slipping. Drain the trans fluid and see what it looks like. Also remove the trans pan and replace the filter. When you drop the trans pan look at the metal magnet that is inside the drain pan. If it has a lot of metal particles on it then most likely you will be looking at a rebuild for the trans.
Now the above is if your truck is running smoothly engine wise. If it is not running smoothly please discribe how your engine is running. As in does your engine buck, miss, sputter, is the check engine light on.

well it has 140,000 miles on it and the injectors never been clean or replaced could that be a problem?

I'm thinking TC or tranny too. Does the tranny fluid smell burnt? Is it dark?

Before you do anything, diagnose.
AE or Ford scanner... Codes, more info... etc.

Really need more info to go on. It could easily be the tc, but it could be a hundred other things also. Run some diesel kleen through it and see if it is just the injectors needing cleaned. Where are you at? Maybe I can swing by this weekend and see if I can't help you figure it out.

what is TC? I live in St. Charles. Should I just take it in and have someone clean the injectors or is there some stuff I can put in my fuel that will clean them?

Torque converter. You can put in some diesel kleen or Fords cetane booster.
