front main seal

anybody got a good link on how to replace a front main seal, i blew mine out yesterday playin in the mud.... i am sure that is gonna be fun?

you mean the main seal inside your steering knuckle?

the front mai seal on the motor, behind the balancer is where the oil is coming from.

Home They seem to know what they're doing. I use them for most of my work...much better manuals than chilton and haynes. Wish ya luck man

actually I apologize, I just looked on there and they didn't have the manual for the main seal on the motor. See what else I can find ya though

man, I've been looking around. and I tried a whole buncha combinations of the part you're looking for and I can't seem to find a good manual. My best advice to you is to look up your manual at Chilton's Online - Labor Guide, Service Manuals, DIY Out of all the service manuals (besides quad4x4) those are the best. I really do wish ya luck

if that fails, try asking a local shop for a diagram from the programs they use. Might even have some helpful removal and install tips. Tomorrow I'll stop by the hobby shop on base and see what I can find out for ya
