Question Idm

I am trying to determine if I need to match the numbers on my IDM to any 99 and up module? Or will any 99 and up IDM work in 2002 7.3 PSD? Thanks in advance

1999 to 2003 are all compatible. You just need to check to make sure its the same number under part number. example 110 or 120 has to be the same as yours

The IDM is located in the fender well on the drivers side. its up under the back side where the fender meets the driers door.. pull back the splash shield and look up. I have one at home, what is yours a 110 or a 120, I will check mine if thats your problem.

My truck is not running at all. I replaced the CPS, which didn't work and so I got a reman IDM online. I tried it, but it still won't start. Then I noticed they sent me a 110 rather than a 100 (truck is a 95). Will that matter, or would the truck at least fire with the 110?

Tim

Just to verify, automatic or stick shift, **ANY** IDM works in **ANY** 94 1/2 to 03 7.3, correct? No other considerations, just 7.3 PSD engine type and the included years?
