water leaking into the cab.

I have water leaking in and it seems to be making weird things happen ...such as Interior light and cargo light stay on in a flicker type of intermittent lumination... the buzzer comes on and sounds sick... there is a clicking sound under the dash... the power to the heater fan remains power when the key is off. I have finally seen the water dripping the side pillars
could this be coming from the clearance lights on the cab? does anyone have any experience withn this problem?

Man leaks are a pain aren't they? I had one in my old chevy, several spots at the top of the windshield. Heavy rains and carwashes would make it leak pretty good. I did my own fix with some clear painter's caulk. It took two or three small beads and letting them dry between to get it to seal up and it never leaked after.

leak info

Lord , redneck and stroker
Thanks for the info guys I will get it sealed up
MY guess is the roof flange is where the windshield and body steel meet at a glue joint... I really appreciate it ....

Hey, Banshee
Yeah it sucks.... because things stay on in the truck untill you start pulling fuses which is always a fun thing.. now I see the three rock chips in the glass and I am thinking about replacing the windshield ...oh well got it dried out and all is fine for now. have good weekend

Stop tailgating dump trucks, that might help! Ha! I hate dump trucks that have no mud flaps. I don't know if any laws exist against the absence of mud flaps or not, but there should be if there isn't. I've been caught behind several dump trucks that have lost a mud flap or both, or they've been worn away so bad from being pulled up over the tires...which makes for a funny looking tire contoured mud flap lol! I know there's a few commercial truck operators on here and I don't want to offend, but police should be able to pull them over and cite them. Think of it this way - if you were in your PSD and a competitor pulled ahead of you and flung junk all over your freshly washed and waxed rig, you'd wanna bury him!
