What does your fuel gauge say? "Knocking" is a pretty normal term with a diesel, however, lack of fuel will cause loss of power and a louder knocking sound. If you're below 1/4 tank, add some fuel. It'll still perform sadly for a few miles, but will clear up.

Can you further describe the "knock"?

Its like a really loud knock when i step on the gas. No power at all. I never heard it knock so loud. Its like when my 99 v10 blew up is the last time i ever heard a truck knock like that.
