Trans Fluid Dipstick Broken

Have what I think is a rather unique problem. Noticed a pretty good rattle today. Popped the hood and noticed the dipstick for the trans fluid was wobbly. So I crawled under the truck and found out that the tube is broken just below the bolt that holds it to the engine block.

Has anyone else had this happen to them? It looks like I'm going to have to pull the downpipe in order to get access to the bolt and replace the tube. Oh and I also noticed my up-pipe doughnuts are leaking. May be able to kill 2 birds with one stone.

I will say make it a priority to get fixed. If you let it shake around you'll develop a pain in the *** leak where it goes into the tranny case

Yeah I'm keeping an eye on it. The tube is broke higher up and the spot where the tube goes into the pan doesn't seem to be rattling. I have the top-most part where the handle is zip tied temporarily.
