hpop leaking

im pretty sure it is the hpop orings. really concerned about tearing apart the hpop to replace the orings...ive worked on cars for awhile but this is my first diesel and my daily driver. how easy is this to do and how long should it take.

If you have the right tool to get the lines off - it's only about a hour's job for all of the lines.
But it could also be the "non-serviceable' (which in fact can be serviced) plug leaking - might need to check that.
Either way - Bob, (Guzzle) has everything you need to get it all fixed.

Its not absolutely necessary to have the tool to remove the HPOP lines, but it does a better job. You can do it with two flat screwdrivers. They are kind of like push lock fittings but not really. You push the plastic skirt forward to pop it off the male fitting. Actually one of those pry bar tools to pop those door panel plastic rivets should work if the fork is cut wide enough.

in a pinch for a tool , and after looking at the online quick disconnect tool pics on a saturday night wishing that i had one as i was in dire need, i took a 9/16" box end ( maybe it was a 1/2" ) anyway put it to the grinder till it was 1/8" thick or so then wedged the tips , works great for releasing the HPOP lines.

Sold 01 350 6" on 37's and mild mods, 00 X 4" on 35's, 02 f350 4" 35's modded from fan to drive shaft, ridin the 03 with nose conversion with 125k and counting upwards slowly.
Never had CNC's poo on any of it, never will.
