Ranger is in Big Trouble in Australia...HELP!!

The ONLY F-550 I have EVER SEEN in Australia, a Crewcab 4x4, a 2004 with the 6.0 and Auto, 19.5" Dually Wheels.... Has come up for sale at a fair price. A Custom import, first Registered in April 2006.... 10,000 miles on it.

HELP!!! I am in LOVE!!! It will be expensive but fair... IS THE 6.0 ENGINE OK??? CAN I EXPECT 200-300,000 MILES OUT OF IT??? HELP!!! I am over 50, and this would be a major tow vehicle and tool truck mobil shop sort of thing... Sort of one to last the next ten years or longer concept, none more coming to Oz this strong...

I have to make a quick decision before someone else grabs it. THE ONLY ONE I HAVE EVER SEEN IN OZ...!! I know the transmission is better than the 4R100, but is the engine OK?

Monster Truck.... Thank you for your help in advance... Lone Ranger in Oz..

Well there aren't many 6.0's with ALOT of miles on them, but apparently the 05's had most of the major problems worked out of them.

Here's a few pictures I had taken a few days ago of a similar truck... but this one is an 06 with 20,000 miles.
2006 F550 with bed! PICS

How much are they asking?

Thank you all...

Thank you, but it looks like I might be headed for a new one. Maybe a tad lighter on the suspension, an F-450 CC 4x4.... Five month wait, with shipping, and compliancing, and conversion to right hand drive...

I have gone this far, might as well dance to the whole song and go all the way.

Thanks again, Ranger in Oz...

see if you can track the vin# (oasis report) to see if the truck has had any problems. if its been in the ford shop, they will have a history on it.
