Fuel Gauge

Okay, a while back I was running 1/4 mile times in my truck, really getting into it. I had just filled up my tank, and ever since, my gauge has been stuck on full. I turn the key on, and it jumps straight to full.

Is there a chance when I was launching out of the hole, that the fuel wedged the float in the full position? Anyone else have trouble like that? I was thinking I'd take the tank down here in a week or so, any hints to doing that?

I did this

I TOOk THE TANK OFF TO ENLARGE ALL FUEL LINES AND I GOT THE FLOAT STUCK . I DID IT AND I KNOW IT . You might have an open or short in the circit i would look at fuel level connector maybe unplug it see if it reads diff?
last you might have to drop the fuel tank . Ok go 4x4en and jump it too knock the float loose
