ya, your chip sucks If wanting the chip / tuner...get a real one, made and "programmed" to YOUR truck....PHP, TS, BEANS, DP..

99.5 x-cab 7.3l, 6spd, 161k miles.....

Does the turbo whistle you mentioned happen all the time? does it sound like metal on metal or just a higher pitch to the normal turbo whine? I also agree that the chip you have is gone bad and requires replacement, could by something else going bad and the chip switch setting is just one of the symptoms though... Do you have access to any scan tools?

00' F350 CC DRW still pushing well past 300K: 6637, GTP38R, 5.6k mod on turn dial, superchips, trans command, Torque pro on Galxy S2 for PID monitor, OD lock, 4" straight pipe, condensor cooler w/electric fan, watersprayed intercooler, 08' taillights, 05' headlights, BD valve body kit, all door locks foiled, full LED exterior light kit, and the list is still growing.

I will take the truck to autozone and have it scanned...I HAD to let someone drive my truck when I got discharged from the ER as I was too "high" on meds so I think that person ****ed up the chip shifter. ..and I pulled out the hoses and checked the turbo doesnt look like the wheel is touching the housing. ..however it does have in and out play
