electric window problems

i have an 01 250 and some times the window goes down real well and other times it doesnt it goes good till about half way and then goes real slow but always comes up perfect any sugestions

My passenger window does the same thing. The motor needs replaced. The previous owner said the driver side did the same thing, he replaced the motor right before I bought it and it works fine now. I need to get off my lazy a$$ and replace the passenger side.

Is there any tricks that can be done such as cleaning the brushes in the motor before having to actually replace it?
