1999 7.3 Missing or Romping

My 1999 7.3 Diesel Van recently started having trouble. It has over 300k miles on it, but has been running great until now. On a short trip across town it began acting like it was missing a cylinder or something. It struggles trying to accelerate up & down our residential street (less than 30 mph). Seems to idle fine in park on driveway. Tranny fluid is correct level; seems more like an engine issue. No DTC codes in computer...
Does this sound like it could be poor fuel supply pressure and the fuel pump is weak? Or does anyone else have other ideas for troubleshooting?
Need to get this running again. It is a really nice vehicle.
