03 7.3l consuming oil and black smoke.

I suddenly am having trouble consuming oil. I didnt discover the issue until the other day I pulled out in front of traffic, put er to the floor, and at acted as if it blew up. Long story short VERY low oil, had to add 5-6 qts and now runs like a champ. Another several hundred mile later consuming more oil to the point of not firing the injectors. I smell burnt oil at startup and it blows much more black smoke than normal when kicking it down. I do have a slight oil leak but nothing to explain the several quarts low issue.
Where do I start? btw 180k, chipped, exhaust, and c/a intake. I dont know where to start though Im thinking turbo...

Is the oil in your exhaust pipe?
